POLICE are appealing for information in the hunt for missing 40-year-old Hugh Bell.
Mr Bell is from the Jarrow area of South Tyneside, but is a keen trainspotter and is known to frequent York railway station among others.
He was last seen leaving South Tyneside General Hospital on the evening of August 11. He is slim, about 5ft 7ins, with brown eyes, brown hair, a moustache and a Tyneside accent.
He has several prominent tattoos, including the names Lee, in the centre of his neck, and Wayne on the left of his neck.
He also has a tattoo of a spider's web on his left hand.
Police are particularly concerned for his welfare as Mr Bell takes medication and it is believed he may have run out.
