A YOUNG band has been given the chance to perform at an old venue.
Richmond group Eskimo will play at the town's 18th Century Georgian Theatre Royal on Saturday night.
Singer Luke Southgate said the band was excited about the concert.
He said: "It's a prestigious venue and we're very grateful for the opportunity to perform at the theatre -the acoustics are perfect.
"It's a chance for us to play to our very best."
The band, which describes its music as soulful and melodic with acoustic guitars and pianos, played on the main stage at Richmond Live this year.
Theatre spokeswoman Laura Hannaway said: "We feel it's important to support local bands."
Doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets cost between £7 and £10. Call (01748) 825252 to book
