CHILDREN enjoyed the magic of storytelling on Saturday in a new public park.
The event in West Park, off West Auckland Road, in Darlington, was part of the Tees Forest Storytelling festival Tales from the Tees, which has been enthralling toddlers and young children, throughout the region.
The first festival was held last year. It was organised by the Tees Forest, and was hailed as a success after a series of events.
Both last year's festival and this year's have been staged in partnership with the five Tees Valley councils - Darlington, Stockton, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland and Hartlepool and the Tees Valley Wildlife Trust
