MOTORCYCLE enthusiast Ted Hardwick has a dream he hopes other riders will help him fulfil.
He has helped organise the past 23 Teesside Classic Bike Shows, in conjunction with Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council's events team.
Mr Hardwick is a member of the Middlesbrough and District Motor Club, which celebrates its centenary this year, and his ambition is to organise a classic cavalcade for the 24th Teesside Classic Bike Show.
The show will be held in the grounds of Kirkleatham Museum, Redcar on Sunday, September 18, after moving from the Redcar Bowl.
Mr Hardwick said: "Wouldn't it be great if we could display a range of motorcycles to represent each one of the glorious years the club has been in existence?"
Organisers are looking for entries in a variety of categories - veteran and vintage up to 1930, post vintage 1931 to 1945, post war 1945 to 1972, competition up to 1972, vintage Japanese, specialised interest, emerging classics, classic and vintage club displays.
Mr Hardwick said: "We've changed the date, too, and we're sure people will also turn up at the Bowl - so we'll put up diversion signs on the day."
To enter a bike, call Mr Hardwick on (01287) 639642 or turn up on the day.
Trade stands must be booked in advance by calling (01642) 471503. Admission will be adults £3.50, concessions £2
