VISITORS to a Stockton museum can revisit schooldays of the past thanks to a new exhibition.
The display, at the Green Dragon Museum, which runs from Saturday, September 3, until Saturday, November 19, is an archive of photographs and memorabilia from Victorian school days in the borough, dating back as far as the 1890s.
The museum is calling on local residents to help build up its collections with photographs, stories and objects from their, or their parents and grandparents, school days.
Paul Lake, visitor services manager for Stockton Borough Council, said: "We would like to hear from local residents and build up our collections for future exhibitions.
"It may just be memories of school dinners - or getting the cane - whatever it is, we want to know."
Admission to the Green Dragon Museum and exhibition is free and both are open Monday to Saturday, from 9am to 5pm.
Anyone with any stories, photographs or memories is asked to call the museum on (01642) 527982.
