Spennymoor Town Band and the Tavistock Chester-le-Street Riverside Band will unite for a concert at Spennymoor Town Hall, on Saturday, September 17.
The concert will help musicians from the Chester-le-Street band relax before a performance at London's Royal Albert Hall, in October, when they compete with the country's top bands after being named runners-up at the North of England regional competition.
Tickets are £5 from band members, Spennymoor Town Hall or by post. Cheques made payable to Spennymoor Town Band can be sent with a stamped addressed envelope to the band secretary, Old Park Lodge Farm, Byers Green, County Durham, DL16 7NH, or Tom Moffat, 11 Windermere Avenue, Chester-le-Street, County Durham, DH2 3DU
