A DEVELOPING website speaks for itself - or itsoon will.
Middlesbrough's largest housing landlord is launching its own website next month and tenants - and people round the world - will be able to log on and understand.
In addition to English, Erimus Housing's website will translate into Urdu, Hindu, Punjabi, Cantonese and Arabic, reflecting the diversity of tenants.
At www.erimushousing. co.uk, from September 5, anyone logging on will be able to report a repair, get involved with the organisation through area housing forums and even look for jobs.
Jim Teasdale, an Erimus Housing tenant from Berwick Hills, said: "I think the website will be really useful.
"A lot of people have computers and are on the Web now, so people should go on to the site to find out what's happening."
Web design company Montal started working with Erimus Housing earlier this year when consultations began.
The project is now in its first phase and Bob Brady, chairman of the board for Erimus Housing, said: "We are thrilled to announce the launch of our website. This is an extra service for our tenants and something which will be of great use to the wider community.
"The site is not only informative, but visually stimulating and interesting and we will continue to work on it to ensure everyone, from tenants to young people, councillors to business leaders, will benefit."
