A garden at one of the region's stately homes will be hosting specialist growers from all over the region next month.
The gardens, at Newby Hall, near Ripon, will be hosting a plant fair on September 4, from 10am to 4.30pm.
As well as about 25 specialist nurseries and growers, there will be stalls selling garden miscellany and Newby's own stall selling plants from the gardens.
The stately home's head gardener, Mark Jackson, will also be available to offer advice.
Admission to the event is £6.50 for adults, £5.50 for pensioners and £5 for children and includes free entry into Newby's grounds and gardens.
Newby Hall attracts more than 140,000 visitors a year to its restored Adam house and to see its award-winning gardens.
