PEOPLE who want to take up a new activity can find out at a town's library what courses are available.
Chester-le-Street Library, in Station Road, will host an exhibition on local adult education courses next week, from Tuesday to Saturday.
As well as information on the length, venue and cost of courses, there will be people on hand to answer visitors' questions.
The exhibition in the library, which will include information on the driving theory test, using computers and the Internet and digital photography, will be open between 9.30am and 7pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 9am to 4pm on Saturday.
Once people have chosen a course that interests them, they can leave their contact details and the library will ask the course provider to get in touch with further information.
The exhibition is part of the Chester-le-Street Campaign for Learning, to promote adult learning opportunities.
Information about courses can also be obtained from the campaign on 0191-387 4100.
