A MAN accused of a campaign of harassment against a witness in his brother's murder trial has been cleared of all charges.
Gary Weldon was accused of making death threats to Lisa Conlin after a statement she gave to police was used in Christopher Weldon's murder trial last December.
Christopher Weldon was convicted by jurors of killing John Chipp and sentenced to life.
Gary Weldon, of Warennes Street, Pallion, Sunderland, denied harassment and two charges of taking revenge relating to two incidents in city centre bars earlier this year when he was alleged to have made death threats to Ms Conlin.
But jurors cleared him of all charges after a two-day trial at Newcastle Crown Court.
Mr Weldon said during the trial he did not blame Ms Conlin for the fate of his brother.
