A SUPERMARKET worker is hoping to check out in decent time when she takes part in her 18th Great North Run.
Eileen Leonard, 56, a supervisor at Morrison's, at Morton Park, Darlington, will be running for St Theresa's Hospice in the race on Sunday, September 18.
Colleagues will be collecting money for the cause by asking shoppers for donations on September 16 and 18.
A sponsorship form is also available to sign at the customer service desk.
Mrs Leonard, from Haughton, Darlington, who is a former volunteer driver at the hospice, said: "There's not a lot of people who haven't been touched by cancer in some way and they do a wonderful job at St Theresa's."
