MOTORISTS were treated to an eyeful when a group of call centre staff posed for fruity pictures outside their office.

Drivers had a clear view of the nude photo shoot on grass outside the Orange call centre, off Yarm Road, in Darlington.

Plucky volunteers posed for a number of pictures on the lawn and inside the call centre offices, with various items of office paraphernalia covering their modesty.

About 100 workers applied to be part of the campaign across the country and 30 were selected based on diversity.

The models ranged from 18-years-old to 50-plus and represented all body shapes.

Of those who took part in Darlington, many were call centre operators - and one was the postman.

A naked photo shoot also took place at the company's base on the Cobalt Business Park, in North Tyneside.

The pictures will be blown up to poster size and used as part of an in-house advertising campaign to promote a discount staff offer.

The campaign was named Liberate and a spokesman for Orange said: "There was a lot of excitement around the sites during the shoots. After all, Orange does officially have the most beautiful call centre staff of all the mobile operators."

Tanya Robinson won the FHM magazine High Street Honey competition when she worked at the Orange call centre in Darlington.

A spokesman for the company, which employs 2,000 people in the region, said: "We always go out of our way to include staff within our TV advertising and internal campaigns."
