A VILLAGE'S four-day traditional feast celebrations will end today with a junior pet show and music concert.
Next year, Scorton, near Richmond, will celebrate its 750th annual feast.
Meanwhile, organisers said this year's event has been better than ever.
The celebrations started on Sunday with a cricket match.
There was also cream teas and a silver band concert.
On Monday, there was a gymkhana and harness racing, along with children's games and a Punch and Judy show.
Yesterday's activities included a flower show, girls' rounders, women's cricket and a five-mile cycle race.
Today there will be a children's pet show, with prizes for the flippiest fish and the pet with the twitchiest whiskers, as well as adult sports, indoor carpet bowls and a concert with local bands Charger and Trigger Happy on the green.
Feast committee member Sandra McDougal said: "I think we are the only village that continues to hold a four-day feast and it is getting better every year.
"This year, everything has gone smoothly and everybody has really enjoyed themselves."
