The revamp of the Dolphin Centre, in Darlington, includes a new caf and bar with ground floor access, improvements to the reception, re-routing of the entrance staircase to create a hotel-style lobby, new studios, meeting and conference facilities and a soft play and sensory area.
The council has lodged plans for improvements to entrances on Horsemarket and Bull Wynd. Plans for the soft play and cricket coaching area alterations have also been submitted. Officials are also seeking listed consent for re-instatement of the stepped entrance to Central Hall, off Bull Wynd
