NOVICE young musicians can take part in an informal concert, staged from scratch, at Durham Cathedral this week.
As part of the cathedral's summer holiday activity programme, fun music sessions are being staged daily, in the Chapter House, from 10am to 12.30pm.
Participants are invited to take part in an informal concert, as a member of what is dubbed the cathedral's Cobweb Orchestra, on Thursday, at 6.30pm.
Places are limited at the Chapter House sessions, which are held from today until Friday, and pre-booking can be made via the cathedral education service, on 0191-386 4266.
The cost is £2.50 per person, per session.
