A CHARITY shop faces a stock crisis because of a shortage of donations.
Barnardo's, in Newgate Street, Bishop Auckland, can only keep going by transfering goods from other North-East shops.
Although they have plenty of customers, staff have found donations dwindling since they reopened last year with a new Barnardo's branding.
David Abdale, the charity's North-East area retail manager, said: "We are terribly lacking in donations from local people."
The shop has a car park at the back and large loads can usually be collected.
