A REJECTED lover burnt down a bus depot and confessed all to his former girlfriend by text message.
He was arrested a week later when she went to police and showed them his confession.
Steven Profit, 22, of Fallowfield, Leam Lane, Gateshead, started the blaze in Prudhoe, Northumberland, to show his anger at being rejected, Tynedale magistrates heard.
He admitted arson when he appeared before the court in Hexham.
Profit caused £28,000 worth of damage after he left three coaches, two vans and a container burning at the depot on July 12.
He admitted starting the fire and told police it had been a result of the break-up.
Profit sent a number of texts that night saying he had "wanted someone else to feel his hurt".
The case was sent to Newcastle Crown Court for sentence on September 6.
