A PLAN to build five terrace houses on a greenfield site outside a village development limit should be rejected, say planners.
The scheme, at Prospect View Farm, Sheepcote Lane, Darley, near Pateley Bridge, is proposed for agricultural land and would include two affordable homes.
On Tuesday, Harrogate Borough Council will be told that a petition, signed by 13 people, and seven letters of objection had been received.
Menwith with Darley Parish Council has pointed out the need for affordable homes, but added that five homes seemed over intensive for the site.
Planning officer Andy Hough, who will recommend refusal, said there was a conflict with the council's land use policies.
