DETECTIVES are investigating the death of a young man at a terraced house in York.
The 20-year-old's body was found at the house in Garfield Terrace, York, at 6.10am on Saturday.
The ambulance service was the first on the scene and they alerted the police, who cordoned of the house.
A post-mortem examination was held later the same day, but no cause of death has yet been established and detectives are awaiting the results of tests.
Forensic teams have visited the scene and video tape from a nearby shop's closed-circuit television cameras has been taken by police.
Neighbour Brigitt Glenister, 39, said police had interviewed her at her home at about 8.15am.
She said: "They asked me if I'd heard anything. I don't really know anything about it. It's awful when this kind of things happens on your doorstep."
Two men were arrested following the death. After being questioned at York police station, they were released on bail, pending further inquiries.
