A COURSE is being organised in Teesdale to train fitness instructors.
The Teesdale Village Halls Consortium and Teesdale Leisure Services are planning to run an accredited exercise to music (aerobics) course this autumn.
It is hoped this will increase the number of aerobics instructors in Teesdale and lead to more outreach classes.
The course takes 11 days, with the timetable still to be arranged, and funding is available for those qualifying as eligible learners.
The course will cover anatomy and physiology, resuscitation training, how to design and teach exercise to music in a variety of styles, health and safety and customer care.
