A TEESDALE organisation is holding a series of events to give the voluntary and community sector a chance to influence local decision making.
On September 20, Teesdale Community Network has organised workshops at Crook Business Centre about the Government's Every Child Matters paper.
The network is also being consulted on the review of the Regional Economic Strategy at www.onenortheast.co.uk
Responses to the paper need to be received by August 30.
The Wear Valley and Teesdale Community Networks are organising a meeting with the North East Ambulance Service about proposed changes to services in rural areas, at the Manor House Hotel, West Auckland, on September 1.
Finally, a Know-sey neighbour event, which celebrates local community activity, is being held at Toft Hill Village Hall on September 15.
For more information on the events, call (01388) 762220.
