THE Government is to tell Ryedale District Council how much it is likely to receive over the next three years from Whitehall.
But councillors heard that there was unlikely to be any significant rise in grants.
Chief financial officer Trevor Teasdale said: "Don't hold your breath. It won't make big forecasts - probably little more than inflation."
* The council has been given £267,000 by the Government to improve its development control system.
The funding will include help for the Market Towns Action Plans in Ryedale, the redevelopment study for Malton town centre, work on the case for upgrading the A64, and the river-rail site projects at Norton and Malton
