VISITORS to a North-East tourist attraction will be able to enjoy a bizarre mixture of circus and science next week.
Science giant Dr E Longated, who is 9ft, will be entertaining people at Newcastle's Life Science Centre from Monday to next Sunday.
Visitors can then try out a range of experiments involving rockets, peacock feathers, gravity bottles and a capstan key to discover the scientific principles behind many well-known circus stunts.
Jenny Search, science development officer at Life, said: "We are delighted that Dr E Longated is bringing his show to Life. Families can experience a fun-filled science demonstration uncovering many science facts."
Throughout the week, youngsters can compete to gain the fastest reaction time as Dr E Longated drops objects from his stilts and measures how quickly they are caught by each participant.
Each day the centre will display the fastest reaction time and the week's overall winner will receive a Triopolis underwater city set and a family ticket to Life.
