PEOPLE using a council tip are being asked for their views on the service it offers.
City councillors in Ripon, who are taking part in a study, say they are unhappy about the service offered at the Dallamires Lane tip.
David Parnaby, chairman of the planning committee, said: "There is great concern about what is happening at the Ripon tip."
He said there had been about 15 skips in the past, but now a small number of crushers were used, slowing down the handing over of waste.
Ripon City Council has invited a representative from North Yorkshire County Council to discuss the new- look tip and future plans for disposing of unwanted items.
"We need to be able to tell local people exactly what is happening and what plans the county has," he said.
