SEVENTIES chart-toppers Boney M will be among the line-up this weekend at a North-East music festival.
The band, who had hits including Brown Girl in the Ring, will perform on Friday night at the start of the three-day free festival.
A variety of bands will take to the stage at Stockton Riverside for the annual Stockton Live event, which is growing in popularity every year.
The opening night will be a 70s fest, with Brutus Gold's Love Train taking to the stage to get everyone in the party mood.
But one of the highlights of the night will be Boney M, featuring original lead singer Liz Mitchell.
Some of the best tribute bands around will play on Saturday, including Trextasy and The New Age Jam, while on Sunday revellers will be able to watch the likes of The Beatlemaniacs and Eden performing.
Other bands will include Holah, DVD and Big Sigh & The Yawns.
Councillor Alex Cunningham, Stockton Borough Council's cabinet member for education, leisure and cultural services, said: "This weekend of great music is absolutely free and will give everyone the opportunity to experience Stockton International Riverside Festival.
