POLICE looking for missing teenager Jenny Nicholl have again searched moorland visited by the 19-year-old only days before she disappeared.

A team of officers visited the Ministry of Defence land near Hudswell, two miles outside Richmond, North Yorkshire, yesterday.

A police spokesman said officers were looking for clues.

He said: "It was yet another search and there are likely to be more."

Ten days ago, a man was found hiding in a makeshift den near where yesterday's search took place.

It is understood the man is linked to the investigation, although police are refusing to say how.

It has also emerged the teenager was spotted camping with two friends on the land four days before she disappeared, almost six weeks ago.

Detectives searching for the teenager handed out leaflets and appealed for information at the Richmond Live music event at the weekend.

But police said the exercise produced no significant leads.

"We got some snippets to piece together, but we still haven't got the one piece of information to say where Jenny is," the spokesman said.

"We are still waiting for that and still looking for her."

He added: "But although there were no major leads, there was a lot of goodwill from the public."

Miss Nicholl was last seen at her home in Richmond on June 30.

Her car, a white Rover 214i, was found in the car park of the Holly Hill Inn, on the outskirts of Richmond, four days later.
