A YOUTH said to have committed a number of crimes in one night has appeared in court.
The 16-year-old, from Darlington, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared before Newton Aycliffe Youth Court yesterday.
He is accused of robbing one person of £2 and trying to rob another on the night of July 12. Magistrates felt they were unable to deal with these charges and adjourned them until September 12 for committal to crown court.
The youth admitted breaking into Darlington's Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College on the same night and two earlier charges of perverting the course of justice.
These charges were adjourned until August 22 for sentencing.
He denied committing two assaults and these charges were adjourned until September 5 for a pre-trial review.
