A LEISURE complex will be awash with art over the summer, with a series of workshops.
The Gate, in Newcastle, is encouraging parents and children to produce self-portraits, for the Sea of Faces exhibition.
Artists from Musa Fine Art will be on hand to offer tips.
The paintings will be suspended from the ceiling of the Sky Deck, which will be open over the August bank holiday.
There will also be artwork by children from Hawthorn Primary School, in Newcastle.
The workshops will run every Tuesday and Thursday this month.
Marketing manager Jude Leitch said: "This a great chance for families to come to The Gate, meet some talented artists, and have a go at a self-portrait."
