THE funeral of a police officer who died in a road accident was held yesterday.
PC Glenn Robinson, 46, was riding his motorcycle home to Harrogate, North Yorkshire, when he was involved in an accident with a car on the A59 seven miles west of the town on July 27.
Friends and family attended a service at Christ Church, in Harrogate, yesterday afternoon.
PC Robinson was part of the road policing team and was based in Skipton.
The officer, described as committed, dedicated and hard-working by colleagues, leaves a wife and two children.
