GIFTED and talented children have taken part in a two-week summer camp that focused on the history of Darlington.
The 26 youngsters from three secondary schools and several primary schools had been chosen by their teachers to take part.
They visited museums in Darlington and York, made a large quilt, filmed news broadcasts, made digital presentations and even took part in Scottish country dancing.
The camp was run by Terry Conway, the gifted and talented co-ordinator at Longfield, in Darlington, where the camp was held.
