A HANDGUN with ammunition was seized from a house in Middlesbrough last night along with almost £1000 in cash after a police swoop.
Middlesbrough District Drug Unit went to an address on Regent Road where they discovered several hundreds of pounds worth of heroin and some cash.
A 27-year-old woman and a 17-year-old man were arrested for conspiracy to supply a class A drug. The police then went to the 17-year-old's address on Deepdale Grove where the found the handgun along with some ammunition and the cash.
The couple are facing further charges for firearms and money laundering offences and are currently being questioned at Middlesbrough Police station.
