A MUSIC and beer festival is being staged in Darlington next month.
The Rhythm and Brews festival is a joint venture between Darlington Arts Centre's R 'n' B Club and Dar*ington Campaign for Real Ale (Camra).
For 25 years, the event has drawn fans of great music and authentic ales from across the town. This year it is expected to attract more than 15,000 people.
Most events will take place at the Arts Centre, in Vane Terrace, from Thursday, September 15, to Saturday, September 17, and finish in the Market Square on Sunday, September 18.
There will be appearances from a variety of bands, including the 1960s group, The Animals.
There will also be some performances in The Dolphin Centre and pubs in the Market Square, including the Pennyweight, Hole in the Wall and Quaker House.
All events are free and performance times vary.
