BUTTERFLIES and dragonflies will be on everyone's hunting list this weekend at the Lingfield Countryside Centre.
All the family are invited to take part in a butterfly transect walk - a system of monitoring the activity of the creatures along a particular route.
The event, which is part of a British Butterfly Conservation Society scheme, will help people learn how to identify the beautiful, colourful butterflies, as well as searching for dragonflies.
Places on the walk, from 10am to noon on Saturday, need to be booked by calling countryside staff on (01642) 577325. There is a 50p charge for materials and people are advised to wear outdoor clothes.
The centre can be found in Mount Pleasant Way, Coulby Newham, Middlesbrough.
