A GREYHOUND pup is in need of a new home.
Benny, who is just a few months old, has been taken in by the National Animal Sanctuaries Support League and fostered by Christine Wilcockson, who lives in Shildon.
Pauline Wilson, of the charity, said: "Benny is quite a delightful little chap, he is well socialised and is charming.
"He would make a nice pet for a family, perhaps a family who already have a dog. It would be nice for him to be near children. And contrary to what people think, greyhounds do not actually need that much exercise. Two 20-minute walks a day is enough."
Anybody who can offer Benny a home, can call Mrs Wilson on (01325) 321855.
