BUILDING firm Hall Construction has won more than £7m of work in just one month.
Over the past month, the County Durham-based firm has won contracts for a football stadium, skatepark, airport and a new housing development.
This week, the firm starts work on the £3.6m West Stand for Rotherham United FC, which will provide more than 4,000 new seats with corporate hospitality and catering.
The contract continues Hall's track record in football stadium construction. The firm completed Darlington Football Club's Reynolds Arena - now known as the Williamson Motors Stadium - last year.
Hall has also just started work on a skate park at Prissick Park, Middlesbrough, under a £400,000 partnering contract with Middlesbrough Council.
The project - which will be completed in 14 weeks - has been designed by specialist American designers Site Design Group, of Arizona, with input from locals.
Another phased contract worth £1m is seeing Hall build a 1,100-space car park at Durham Tees Valley Airport, after it built the airport access road, opened by the Duke of York last month.
The latest work for Rushyford-based Hall Construction is the cleaning of two former colliery sites at Whitworth Park, Spennymoor, under a £2m contract to provide infrastructure and drainage for a housing development by Yuill and Bellway.
