A FAMILY-RUN furniture company is celebrating 18 years in business this summer.
Westway Country Furniture, in Helmsley, North Yorkshire, was set up by husband and wife Jeremy and Jane Dzierek in 1987.
The couple originally sold furniture from the front room of their home before expanding into 1,800sq ft premises in Carlton Lane, which now showcases a wide collection of contemporary and traditional oak furniture, leather sofas, pottery, lamps and accessories.
To mark its latest milestone, the company has launched a range of handmade English Pippy oak furniture.
Mrs Dzierek said the secret of success was selling the right products and having a customer service that was second to none.
