A FEAST of family fun has been lined up in Teesside for the summer holidays.
There is a host of free activities for families at the Museum of Hartlepool and Hartlepool Art Gallery, to tie in with the town's Sea Britain celebrations and the museum's Monsters of the Deep exhibition.
On Tuesdays, throughout the holidays, the public can join in with the Sea Britain-themed experiments at the museum or have a go at building and racing miniature boats, make a periscope, send signals with Morse code and much more.
These activities are suitable for children over seven and must be pre-booked.
There are also fun craft activities for all the family at the museum on Wednesdays during the holidays. Visitors to the Monsters of the Deep Exhibition can have a go at making sock sea serpents, underwater origami or a picture frame from a shark's jaws. These are drop-in sessions.
On Thursdays at the art gallery, the artist-in-residence will be hold craft sessions with a Sea Britain theme.
For the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday activities, there are morning sessions for pre-booked groups only, which run from 10am to 11am, and from 11am to noon. There are afternoon sessions for families from 1pm to 3.30pm.
