THE young members of the Skerne Park-based Little EE's Club, in Darlington, were presented with £2,135 by the County Durham Foundation Trust. The club spent some of the money on a trip to Beamish Open Air Museum. Pictured above are the club members with their cheque, before their outing this week. The County Durham Foundation is an independent charity, which was established in 1995, to support community based projects that make a real difference to the quality of life for local people and provide a grant making and fund management service. Last year, the charity distributed £1.7m in grants, primarily in County Durham and Darlington.Picture: SARAH NICHOLSON
