A couple who were getting a little too over attentive with each other got more than they bargained for when an outraged mother decided to cool things down.
Susan Gill, of Linthorpe, Middlesbrough, dampened their enthusiasm when she turned the garden hose on the amorous pair.
The courting couple had been regularly parking outside her Canterbury Grove home, during daylight hours, so she decided to solve the problem once and for all.
She said: "There is a time and a place for that sort of thing and that's not during the day next to my garden."
Mrs Gill said the courting couple had pulled into the secluded car park several times over a ten-day period between 4pm and 5pm and were within sight of her young daughter if she was playing in the garden.
So far no-one has come forward to complain about getting a soaking but Cleveland Police confirmed they had investigated the couples shenanigans.
A spokeswoman said: "We did have a woman make a report about this kind of behaviour but when we arrived, there was nobody around."
