A COUNCIL says its re-launched website is bigger and easier to use.
The Richmondshire District Council site went live on Friday.
Additions include a directory of services, an A to Z menu and a new search facility.
Council spokesman Richard Deighton said: "The new website is easy to navigate and very informative.
"With just a few clicks, you can be filling in electronic forms to request council services, take part in consultation exercises, reporting faults, giving feedback and even complaining online."
Councillor David Morton said: "The council wants to provide residents with services that are accessible where, when and however people want them, and an up-to-date website helps fulfil that commitment."
Further improvements to the site are planned.
By the end of the year, visitors to www.richmondshire. gov.uk will be able to access council reports, use an improved electronic payment system, check eligibility for benefits and view council tax and business rates.
The council has also trained more staff to work on the site.
