A DANCE school has celebrated its 20th anniversary with a production involving more than 200 pupils.
The performance at the Darlington Civic Theatre by the Melanie Edmenson School of Dance was the third time the school has used the theatre. Pupils performed a variety of dances including a can-can.
Many of the pupils had Royal Academy of Dance exams two weeks before the show and 18-year-old Fiona Scott performed for the last time with the school as she has gained a place on a musical theatre course in September at SLP (Studios Le Pointe) College, in Leeds.
The school holds classes in Barnard Castle and Chilton, County Durham, from Thursday to Saturday and classes are run by qualified teachers.
