LEAFLETS promoting the county town of North Yorkshire have been produced.
Local shops, restaurants, pubs, tourist information points and churches are among the places featured in the glossy brochures.
Members of the Northallerton and Villages Community Plan Forum produced the brochures to highlight the town as a tourist destination and provide information for locals and visitors on what it has to offer.
One leaflet is about the town; the second is on the Battle of the Standard, which took place on the town outskirts in 1138; and the third features sites on a town trail.
The need for quality promotional material for the town was identified through the Renaissance Market Town initiative, completed last year.
A group from the Community Plan Forum created the leaflets, including the Reverend Keith Phipps, from Northallerton Methodist Church, Lesley Shaw, from the Over 50s Forum, Dorothy Welburn, from Allertonshire Civic Society, and Lisa Wilson and David Shields, from Hambleton District Council.
