PUPILS have said a fond farewell to their Darlington school with an ambitious leavers' concert.
Youngsters at Mowden Junior School staged their own version of the Shakespeare comedy Twelfth Night to music.
The show, performed by year six pupils preparing to move on to secondary schools, has been played to packed audiences. Director and deputy headteacher Mike White said: "We always try to do something special with our leavers each year and this was extra special.
"As well as our on-stage talent, we had other pupils organising and checking the sound and lighting.
"It was a wonderful event and underlined the bonds in our school community."
