THREE Wear Valley primary schools rounded off a year-long creative and literacy project with a show.
Stanley Crook, Tow Law Millennium Primary and Witton-le-Wear Primary performed Around the World in 80 Minutes for an audience of parents and governors at Wolsingham School and Community College.
Tow Law pupils opened the show with a selection of Australian songs before Witton-le-Wear performed The Willow Story, from China. Stanley Crook children used dance and music to illustrate the cultures of France, Holland, America, India and other countries.
Dance artist Shantha Rao led pupils from all three schools in traditional Indian dancing.
A spokesperson for the schools said: "The children were amazing. They showed excellent communication skills and clearly enjoyed the whole experience.
"They were a credit to themselves and wonderful ambassadors for the schools."
