A LURCHER dog which has been saved from death row is looking for a new family.
Amazing Maisie, as she has been named by her rescuers, is being cared for by dog lover Angela Taylor and friend Julie Johnson as they search for a new home for her.
The four year old was rescued from Deerness Kennels, in Langley Moor, near Durham, only hours away from being put down.
She has since been vaccinated and neutered in anticipation of being adopted.
Mrs Taylor said: "She will make someone a loyal and faithful friend. She is very intelligent and loving and just loves to play with her toys. She will be tremendous company for someone.''
Anyone wanting to give Maisie a home should contact Mrs Taylor on (01388) 812782.
