Stalwart Owen Williamson reckons that Hylton are in with a chance of inflicting a first defeat of the season on leaders Esh Winning, writes Malcolm Pratt.

"We gave them a good game earlier in the season and since then have found our feet playing overs crickets, which we find suits us very well," said Williamson, who last Saturday captured five wickets for 13 runs.

Williamson will again spearhead the Wearsiders' attack which includes Darren Walton. He has made a big impression since joining the club earlier in the season.

Esh gave Chester-le-Street a good game on Wednesday night before losing by just 17 runs in the Matthew Oswald Cup. Their only other defeat was by Hylton at the start of the season so there is a double incentive for them this afternoon.

Willington are second top with 39 points adrift ahead of their game at Mainsforth where both sides field their strongest line-up.

Brandon go to Shildon minus Dean Storey and David Fort while a blow to the home side is the absence of Hiram Marambe and Cameron Pearce who has returned to Australia.

Neil Teesdale resumes for Evenwood at home to Tudhoe and David Armstrong lines up for Ushaw Moor against Etherley who are back to full strength.

With Ian Musgrave sidelined, Mark Boughey comes into the Crook Town side for the home fixture with Kimblesworth.
