SCHOOBOY Matthew Barlow is fed up of people rubbishing his town.
Now his message: Keep Guisborough Smart by Doing Your Part - Bin It!, is to be seen across the town on 18 new post mounted litter bins.
He hopes litter louts will neither miss his message nor the bins, which are the result of an initiative between Laurence Jackson School, Guisborough Town Pride, Guisborough Business Association and Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council.
Shops in the town will also display Matthew's message in their windows.
Doreen Myers, of Guisborough Town Pride, said: "We all hope it will encourage youngsters to use the litter bins. We're only talking about a small number who don't, but it would make such a big difference if they all did use the bins.''
