AN awareness day is being held by Cleveland Alzheimer's group to highlight its work supporting those with dementia and their families.
The event will take place from 9am to 5pm, on Saturday, June 17, the final day of National Carers Week, when volunteers will be outside Boots, at Teesside Retail Park, giving advice and information.
There will be people to talk to about the needs of carers and issues relating to Alzheimer's. Fundraiser, Judy Preston, said: "Carers do a great job and are not always recognised for their hard work."
