CARLIN How WMC A look to have clinched the runners-up spot in Division One after a 3-3 draw with main rivals Guisborough Cons A put them two points ahead going into the last match.
Redcar WMC A increased their lead with a 5-1 success at Lakes SC B, while New Marske B completed their campaign with a defeat, losing 4-2 at the Citz A.
Saltburn Cons B were only able to field two players when they faced Marske WMC A and lost 5-1.
But the Marske win does not look enough to stop Redcar WMC B taking the title. With a game still to play, they defeated visitors Redcar Unionists A 5-1.
Unionists' B team won by the same margin when they entertained British Steel A for whom Paul Sigsworth recorded the only point.
Carlin How WMC B beat visitors Wilton Golf A 4-2, with the home sides' Ross McMillan coming unstuck when he faced Bill Jones in his last two frames.
Saltburn Cons A showed their improved form with a 3-3 draw at Redcar Cons A, John McCabe tying the scores with a 45-35 win against Ian Whittle in the second frame after losing the first 67-32.
Ian Walton became only the third player this season to take two frames off Redcar's Mick McDermott with scores of 70-59 and 69-43, and it was left to Lee Millar to tie the match with wins of 42-9 and 51-27 over Ted Walker.
