VISITORS to a museum are being given the chance to come face to face with some of the last century's most memorable exhibits.
The Mercer Gallery in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, is taking a trip down memory lane with its Representations exhibition, which opens on Saturday.
The works of art on display, including Rose Garrard's imposing sculpture "Self Portrait", have all been brought out of storage for a spell in the limelight.
Many exhibits have not been on display for several years and visitors will get to see old favourites, including David Mach's Coathanger Head sculpture.
The exhibition runs from Saturday until September 3.
The Mercer Gallery is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm, and Sunday, 2pm to 5pm.
Admission is free.
